If you have been scammed you're probably very nervous right about now In this case you can do a few things to take back a little control.
Besides filing a police report ( if needed )
First: Call your bank immediately notify them of the situation, some banks will try and get your money back and freeze your bank account so they can't take any additional money
SECOND: Call and put a freeze on your credit scores. you can usually do this buy calling them. the three major bureaus transunion, equifax, and experiean ( If they know enough information they can take loans, credit cards etc. so make sure this is a priority).
Third: File a claim at http://www.fbi.gov/scams-safety/fraud/internet_fraud or for a direct link to the form click here. This may not help get your money back but it could help stop who did it and prevent it from happening to someone else, if you don't do it who will
Next: Ensure you let us know of the issue and any information so we can put it up on our warning page. also any other place you can think of to let people so it doesn't happen to them.

P.S. You can notify the BBB. and other places but remember that the better business bureaus is not a government agency, and chance are they ( scammers ) won't care because all the BBB is give them a bad name. ( that's when the crooks will change there name and game )
